These Terms of Service govern your use of the One Delegate platform. By using our app, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
By downloading, installing, or using the One Delegate mobile application or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the platform.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and current. One Delegate reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to contain false information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. One Delegate is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized account access that occurs through no fault of our own.
One Delegate operates as a marketplace platform connecting customers with independent waste collection agents. By placing a booking, you agree to pay the quoted service fee. Bookings are confirmed only after payment is successfully processed. One Delegate does not directly provide waste collection services — agents are independent contractors.
All payments are processed securely via Paystack. Customers can pay via in-app wallet or debit/credit card. Service fees are set by individual agents and displayed before booking confirmation. One Delegate deducts a 30% platform commission from each completed job, with 70% credited to the agent's wallet.
Cancellations made before an agent is dispatched will result in a full refund to the customer's wallet. Cancellations after dispatch may incur a partial charge. Refunds for disputed jobs are handled on a case-by-case basis by our support team. Contact support via the in-app ticket system for any payment disputes.
Agents agree to: (a) provide services in a professional and timely manner; (b) maintain the accuracy of their service listings; (c) comply with all applicable laws regarding waste collection and disposal; (d) not misrepresent their identity or qualifications. Agents who violate these terms may be suspended or permanently removed from the platform.
Users must not: (a) use the platform for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to bypass security measures or exploit platform vulnerabilities; (c) harass, threaten, or harm other users or agents; (d) create fake reviews or ratings; (e) use the platform to collect waste in violation of local regulations.
Customers may rate and review agents after each completed job. Reviews must be honest and based on genuine experience. One Delegate reserves the right to remove reviews that are fraudulent, abusive, or in violation of these terms.
All content, trademarks, and software on the One Delegate platform are the property of One Delegate or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
One Delegate acts as an intermediary platform. We are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by agents. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. When we do, we will update the 'Last Updated' date and notify users via the app. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from your use of One Delegate shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
