1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you register, we collect your full name, email address, phone number, and (for agents) business name and address. This information is necessary to create and manage your account.

Location Data

With your permission, we collect your real-time location to match you with nearby agents, track pickups in progress, and provide accurate service estimates. You can revoke location access at any time in your device settings.

Payment Information

Payments are processed securely by Paystack. We do not store your card details. We only retain transaction references and payment status to maintain your booking history.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the app — including device type, operating system, screens visited, and actions taken — to improve our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to: • Create and manage your account • Match customers with verified agents near them • Process bookings and payments • Send service updates, booking confirmations, and notifications • Improve app performance and user experience • Comply with legal obligations

3. Information Sharing

With Agents

When you book a service, we share your name, service address, and contact number with the assigned agent so they can complete your pickup.

With Service Providers

We work with third-party providers (such as Paystack for payments and Expo for push notifications) who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.

We Never Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes.

5. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure token-based authentication, and access controls to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure — we encourage you to use a strong password and report any suspicious activity immediately.

6. Your Rights

7. Children's Privacy

One Delegate is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will delete it immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will notify you via the app and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
